Hasbro to the Rescue

If you ordered a 25th Anniversary Doc and have been waiting patiently or otherwise for him, Hasbro updated their official G.I. Joe site (which is hardly ever updated) with news that the extra batch of figures they made has reached the US and will start shipping within the next 4 to 8 weeks! Sweetness!

I personally can’t wait for my 25th Anniversary Doc, having gone on a comic two pack buying spree while at the same time purchasing a couple of redemption stickers from a fellow at OAFE.net forums (you should join them now and talk some toys with me) for a couple of dollars. Thankfully, I had just made it under the deadline. Now give me my damn figure already! My old Kellog’s Lifeline is overworked with all the combat my Joes have been seeing.

Not that I play with my G.I. Joes…

    Thank you sweet baby Jesus. It’s not like I sent my DOC redemption in to Hasbro back in May. I’ve been impatiently waiting ever since. My check was finally cashed the first week of September so I’m hoping that I’ll be in that first batch that receives them. I just wish I had gotten two of them … maybe someone will trade for a SDCC Cobra Commander.

    I let out a big sigh of relief when Hasbro posted that. I sent mine just before the deadline as well… I can’t wait to get this figure. I loved him in the comics and wasn’t his voice like Jazz in the cartoon? He had some cool voice, and that rocks.
