Those of you who keep tabs on the Atari 2600 homebrew scene may be familiar with Incoming! We first posted news about the game back in 2001, and author Ben Larson announced a final version of the game earlier this year. If you've ever played Artillery Duel on the 2600 (not to mention many similar games on various systems and computers over the years), then you'll be right at home with Incoming! Ben has addressed many of Artillery Duel's shortcomings with Incoming!, resulting in a much improved gameplay experience!
AtariAge and Ben Larson are sponsoring a contest to create original artwork for Incoming! This label artwork will appear on all copies of Incoming!, which will be released at the beginning of December in the AtariAge Store. This artwork will also be featured on the cover of the manual created for Incoming! You can learn more about the contest and what you need to do to enter here.
Submissions must be received by 11:59pm on November 16th, 2008!

The Houston Area Arcade Group (HAAG) is holding their annual arcade expo on November 7th and 8th at the Crowne Plaza Houston Reliant Park hotel. Admission is $25 for a weekend pass or $15 for a single day, which gets you access to over 100 arcade games and pinball machines all set to free play! You can also participate in arcade and pinball tournaments, win door prizes, try your luck at a game raffle, and partake in the full bar. There aren't many opportunities to enjoy large collections of classic arcade games, so if you are in the Houston area (or can get there!), you should be at this expo! AtariAge is sponsoring the event, and we'll have a slew of classic gaming systems (Atari 2600, 5200, ColecoVision, Intellivision, etc.) setup for play! For more information, please visit ArcadeCenter.com.

Will you lead? Find the answer by travelling through the 20 tunnels of Lead, where you'll have to fire at incoming enemies, dodge deadly asteroids, scramble past menacing sentinels and catch wandering satellites to survive, and finally prove to yourself that you can do it.
Lead is a fast paced action game created by Simone Serra, whose first Atari 2600 homebrew release was the unique collection of puzzle and rhythm games in Sync. AtariAge and Simone Serra are sponsoring a contest to create original artwork for Simone's latest Atari 2600 homebrew. This label artwork will appear on all copies of Lead, which will be released at the beginning of December. This artwork will also be featured on the cover of the manual created for the game. You can learn more about the contest and how to enter here.
