i am a 23 year old, serious collector from Norway!
i collect because the snowglobes makes me happy, they are very decorative and are a unusual thing to see here in Norway:)
i showcase everyone in my living room, i soon need more space:)
About my collections: I started to collect after a trip to Disneyland resort Paris in 2006.
right before christmas 2007 i found disneyshopping,com, and then the collection started.
after christmas eve in 2007 i had 5 snowglobes, christmas 2008 i have 32 snowglobes...
soon 36:)
i have bought most of them, but some are christmas and "just because" gifts:)
I only collect Disney snowglobes, and they have to be bigger than 7".
I prefer snowglobes that are from the classics movies, and that have something special about them ( running water/ real voice/ limited edition / year anniversary/ clock ect)
The perfect Disney snowglobe for me has many features on it, has a big globe, music and lights, and are limited, if it has a christmas theme.. even better:D
