I have been crazy about cars for as long as I can remember. Ever since I can remember I have had lost of toy-cars. My father used to come home on friday, as he was stationed in Germany, and I would inspect his pockets successfully for a car. The passion has never gone away. About my collections: I am now especially into moviecars in the big scale but I also have a large collection of 1:87 car models. These are mostly made of plastic and thus do not qualify as diecast. About my interests: Next to the models I also like movies, which would explain the merging of both in my hobby. In general I am a Scifi fan.

CQ: How many items do you have and what got you started? In the 1:18 Scale I have about a hundred models. I have really always had something with cars ever since my father would bring me one when he came home on the weekends when I was little. I used to check his pockets when he got in the door. He was in the military just like me, or should I say this the other way round. In the 1:18 scale I collect mainly movie- and TV-cars. This is where the fascination for cars meets the film-buff, I guess. Next to the 1:18th scale I also have a couple thousand models in 1:87th scale, but they are plastic and thus do not qualify as diecast.
CQ: If you had to run from the law and needed to get to Mexico lickity split, which car in your collection would you take?
CQ: Which full size car today do you think would be hot as a die-cast car and why? I am a fan of Aston Martins, and there are still a few that would do well in 1:18th, especially the one that Timothy Dalton got when he was James Bond in "The Living Daylights".
