A few words about myself:
Im in my early 20's and work at a restaurant. I enjoy collecting lego sets, and apple products too. I've always enjoyed building things, for the many years I collected lego as a kid then moved onto building aircraft models then building computer. I suppose you could say I enjoy building things, so it makes sense that I started collecting lego again. I'm also a keen photographer so the lego is nice to have when I want to take some nice macro shots.

About my collections:
i started collecting lego when I was very young about 4 or 5 years old. I collected it till I was about 9 I believe. I lost interest in lego through my teens as I got into computers but lego always had a soft spot in my heart. Just a few months ago I saw the lego cafe corner set in some ones pictures and decided to search about on the web for more lego pictures and what sets were available. I was wowed by the huge cities people created especially for the train layouts and started to buy some lego sets and before I knew it I had more sets than I knew what to do with. So I bought a display cabinet and they now sit in there keeping out of my dusty room and always give me something to look at when I'm bored. I'm still buying lego sets though Im not sure where I'll be putting them. Im hoping I might be able to create a lego city at some point when I have somewhere to build it.

About my interests:
One of my main interests other than collecting lego is photography. I like to get out and take lots of pictures, especially at events or just on random trips out. I also enjoy long walks exploring new places. If the weather is bad I like to just chill out and browse around the web and photography sites and if I get bored of that I like to play games on my PS3 or just sit back and watch a Movie.

CQ: How many Lego sets do you have? What got you started?

I have about 16 sets at the moment not including boxes of RC train track. I originally started collecting lego when I was a couple of years old, for many years it was defiantly my favorite toy and due to being ill when I was younger I acquired many sets as presents. That lego is now being played with by my nephew but my current collection was started early this year. I got inspired by some interesting lego pictures I saw then had a look around the net at the big lego train hobbyists towns and decided I wanted to start buying some more lego again.

CQ: Have you ever wanted to be a Lego Engineer?

Maybe when I was 6 or 7 but it's nothing thats really came into mind at an older age, but thats probably due to only being interested in lego again this year. I think it would be an amazing job being a Lego Engineer though, getting to design the best sets possible and building things with lego all day, sounds like a really fun job to me!

CQ: When you get a new kit, do you feel the need to start it right away

Actually I prefer to wait it out, I think as a kid I'd have dived straight into it, wanting to build the toy as soon as possible but now a days I prefer to build lego sets to relax and keep myself busy at times of boredom. I think it's something that replaces my more recent hobby of building model aircraft and tanks.
