Jdemarco13 is an obsessive collector  Gender: Male Location: West Mifflin, PA I collect: Dinosaur toys, models and ephemera The most I've spent on an item: $500 Annually I spend about: $2000 I purchase a new item: 1 Time A Month A few words about myself: Thanks to my beautiful wife and kids I was able to retire early from my position as the Chief Clerk of Allegheny County Courts. I spend my time these days dabbling on ebay and buying and selling dinosaur toys and models as well as catching up on house work I let get behind for 30 years. Sigh. About my collections: My collection is not what it once was but I have managed to amass a nice array of things which are my favorites. I have always had a fascination with Zallinger's work and the mural at the Peabody Museum is the genesis of my dinosaurian interest. From there, and my childhood fascination with Marx dinosaurs my passion in the hobby simply expanded. From there it has expanded because I not only collect but I I buy and sell dinosaur models of all kinds as a quasi business. I like to collect things in sets or compile complete collections. Single pieces generally do not interest me although I do have exceptions. Well I actually have many exceptions but commercial based sets are main line of interest. About my interests: I have varied interests besides dinosaurs. I love nostalgia, sports and older movies and have a fascination with the unexplained things in life. I guess I should have been an X-Filer. I also dabble in oil painting (Bob Ross style). I used to be an avid golfer and still go from time to time...
