A few words about myself:
By profession, I am a director/writer of low-budget independent movies (mostly horror; see http://www.frontlinefilms.com), a writer of novels (including THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK), short stories, nonfiction books (including books about dinosaurs, e.g., the DINOSAURS: THE ENCYCLOPEDIA series), comic books, movies, TV shows (live action and animation), music, articles, etc., a musician, photographer, lecturer and also an actor (mostly voice-overs). I'm also a volunteer at The Field Museum and the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County.

About my collections:
I first got interested in prehistoric things at about the age of six or seven, at which time I started collecting, albeit on a very small scale. When I got married my wife had not too many problems with my collecting dinosaur- and other prehistoric-related items, as long as I kept my collection in my office or in the garage. Upon my divorce, and being offered a cast of a Tyrannosaurus rex skull at discount price, suddenly I realized that I could buy such an item 1. without asking my wife if we could afford it ... and that 2. I could put it anywhere I wanted. It was at that moment of realization that my collection really started to expand (and my checking account shrink)!

About my interests:
I'm interested in lots of things -- among them paleontology, horror, science-fiction and fantasy, vintage radio and TV shows, old comic books, stage magic, trains, "Holy Relics," the Three Stooges and Jackie Gleason.
