About me: I'm a former Early Childhood Educator, current Kinesiology student at York University. I spend my free time crafting, playing bass guitar, riding roller coasters, hiking, fiddling with my camera, and of course, collecting. I was born and raised in Toronto, Canada, and currently share my home with an energetic West Highland Terrier named Lola, a grumpy 18 year old cat named Snowie, and two little chinchillas named Rory and Lenore.
My collections: I mostly collect vintage Pyrex, although I have bits and pieces of other vintage kitchen lines. I love the look of old kitchens, so that is where most of my interest lies. I have recently started collecting Japanese miniatures, but not seriously. I also have a tiny collection of wooden figures including Erzgebirge figures, Matryoshka dolls, and Kokeshi dolls. I also love the look of Buntspeche figures and hope to add a few to my collection.
My interests: I've always been involved in crafting, whether it be sewing, knitting, beading, or repurposing old materials. I blame the Girl Guides of Canada for that! Maybe I can blame them for the hiking and camping too. I started playing bass guitar when I was 14, and have played in several bands since. Right now I just play for fun. I often travel Canada and the US riding roller coasters with my boyfriend. My favourites are Superman at Six Flags New England, and The Voyage at Holiday World. I am no expert, but I have a lot of fun taking photographs. My Pyrex collection is one of my favourite subjects to take photos of!
