My Schleich collection

I began collecting Schleich animal figures in the early 1990s when I saw a female wild boar in a gift shop. Since then I have acquired virtually all of the animals in the Schleich farm, wild life and forest life series.

I acquired all the retired Schleich pieces, including the enclosures, via eBay. This seller in particular, http://stores.ebay.com/glucksspielzeugkiste, is a good source for retired Schleich.

Hi Dean! I was very happy to find out this collectors site and am very impressed with your collection...you might have almost everything that Schleich has ever done! I have been collecting animal figures and zoo related stuff since I was a kid and I like to learn new things about toy makers. Do you know where we can find the Schleich enclosures they made in the 90's? I never saw one of these items for sale! I love Marx zoo cages too, but then another hard-to-find piece. Please keep in contact!

Thanks! I have been collecting Schleich and related figures for at least 8 years. A few pieces I have had much longer but at that time I technically was not yet 'collecting.'

hello, i have a big red barn, that is brand new with about 25 barn yard animals to go with, i was wanting to sell, can you give me any direction, thanks for your help, and also what would be the price range, i have put it together, so no box, other than that never been touched, we have no kids, thanks for your help

wow! Great collection there. Do you know a good place to get old ones in New Zealand? im trying to start a collection, at the moment i have 14... im gonna start with horses first then wild animals and dogs... and so on. The only problem is that the only place i can get them is in a shop at the farm days and there is only 1 farm days per year in march. :( there is only horses at farm days so thats why i only have horses. :P
