Hello --
My name is Lisa Swanson and I have two sons Tom and Jon. When my boys were young I was a single working mom and deep down I know I wasn't the mother I wish I could have been to them. I was struggling with bills constantly and the pressure of being alone.
At that time Tom was into batman and Jon was fully absorbed with a brand new cartoon called Ninja Turtles. In fact he loved it so much that through the next few years he had almost every Ninja toy you can imagine but he usually got them from his Dad as I was pretty poor.
But one Christmas I had enough money to buy Jon the original Donnatello plush doll when they first came out (the one in the picture in front on the right). I remember he LOVED that doll but about 3 months later the babysitter took the boys to Hardees in Racine and when they left they forgot it. Once I got home, we rushed back but it was too late and long gone. I’ll never look the look on Jon’s face and I know deep down it really affected him.
But now Jon is grown up. He’s 26 and is soon to become very famous rapper. He just signed a record contract and I think will be succesfful. Jon Frizo of Enicar Records – I’m very proud of him and altho I’m not into rap proud that he’s followed his dreams.
A thought occurred to me that it would be such a great thing to find him Donnatello for his birthday (November 2) so I've been searching and have come across your site. I'm wondering if you would be interested in selling it to me. It would mean the world to me (and I think to him) – I’d really love to surprise him with it.
