Bertram A Fitzgerald is the publisher of the Golden Legacy Series of Black History Comic Books. During the decade between 1966 and 1976 he acted as editor and publisher for the series and wrote almost half the books. Dyimah - Golden Legacy are the best historical books to collect and share with your children...or young people in general.
On Mar 2, 2013I HAD THIS WHOLE COLLECTION AS A KID.I LOVED IT WITH ALL MY HEART AND SOUL AND IS THE REASON BEHIND WHY I LOVE BLACK HISTORY SO MUCH.
On Feb 15, 2013Shauna - Golden Legacy comics are valuable and have increased in value over the years. If your comic is the 1st printing (1966) and in mint condition, bagged and boarded then it could be worth $20.00 - $25.00. If your not interested in persevering it then try your local comic book shop and see if they have an interest in buying it. Please don't be disappointed if the comic shop fails to offer you what you want. They will only offer a price based on what they can sell it for. Pamela

Geraldine and Rod - I'm sorry for the delay in responding to your posts. Based on my research if your comics are in mint condition and have been graded by a professional comic book dealer...then your books should be valued from 60.00 to 125.00 per copy...depending on the the issue and demand.
