I am planning on reupholstering it later this year. It also needs some restuffing. It's expensive to do so I keep putting it off and off. However, I hope it will be the centerpiece of the room. So many people are peddling all kinds of things out there, e.g. labeling something antique or vintage when it isn't, it's hard to know if one is about to overpay for a worthless reproduction. Any clues or resources you use to help avoid mistakes? Thanks P.S, Nice stuff ” posted on: 06/16/2008 “i have 2 peices of depression era bedroom furniture, i'm not sure how to find out who made them or what year they are or what they are worth, i have been searching websites for a couple years and have never seen anyone that has anything that looks like these peices, i dont know how to judge the condition of antique furniture but they are still being used as bedroom furniture on a daily basis so i guess i would say fair to good condition, i got them from my grand mothers estate about 15 years ago and have been using them since, i am assuming they came from the boston or new york area,,,, please help.
