I am proudly the first collector to have photos of this Simba Plush on collectorsquest.com. I purchased him this morning (Oct. 4th) at 10am when the Disney Store doors opened. I did not pre-order him, I just lucked out and I figured that a Michigan Disney Store wouldn't sell out of pre-orders for him. He sells for $59.50; however, I only paid $40 for him because I used my pre-order coupon for $20 off a $40+ purchase. The coupon voucher states on the back that it does not work on Limited Edition dolls, but it worked anyways! Maybe he is not considered a "doll"?. He is the most detailed Simba I have ever seen with plastic and material eyes, jointed legs (meaning that his legs are movable and not just bendable with wire), fluffy ears with suede inner ear, suede paw pads, detailed mouth and nose, and he has close to the correct colored fur! His leaf collar is removable and made of a soft suede material. I kinda wish I could take him out of the box, but as a collector plush.. I know I shouldn't. I just would like to get a good look at him out of the box and see how well his movable legs work. Oh well..

I figured out how to get mine out of the box without cutting the zipties XD but my Simba had intense indents on his sides too. But I slipped him back into his box, ziptied and all so it doesn't really make a difference to me. Disney should have considered that though while packaging him.
yeah..i caved in and took mine out of the box...the legs are awesome and he can stand perfectly...mine sits in his box..just without the wires on him now..they left nasty indents on the poor thing:(
