Super Rare Giraffe plush by Applause

This Giraffe is one of my absolute favorites in my entire LK collection. He's extremely rare, such that before acquiring this plush I had seen only one photo of it on the internet (after hours of scouring sites and images). He was made by Applause in 1994 for the release of the film in theatres. In this collection there were also a Cheetah (which can be seen in this collection) and an Elephant (I have yet to see a photo of). EDIT: I have seen a photo of the Elephant, and he is just as fantastic as the others. I will soon add him to this collection. I was lucky enough to find this one on eBay with his tags intact and he's in brand new condition. I imagine that these plush did not sell well in stores, and as such they were packaged up and stored for years and years still with their tags on. Any of these animal plush characters that did not retain their hangtag are unidentifiable as Lion King plushes, as their tush tags do not state they are from the film. Their hangtags are the only thing connecting them to the movie, so sellers who have one of these plushes in their possession may not know what they have. The original retail prices for the Applause plush line ranged between $35 - $55 at the time, which, with inflation, would now be about $40-70. I do not know the exact price for this plush, as the sticker tag has been ripped off. His item number is 41704: Giraffe. Giraffe is very big: 20" from his forehead to his front hoof, 23" from his forehead to his back hoof, 13" from his chest to the tip of his tail. His plush is beautiful and soft, and he is very well crafted. My favorite part? His ears, which turn backward and his mane. His legs are wired and stiff so he stands up well, but his neck is not secured so it has started to droop. I've been exercising it to stay straight :D This Giraffe is not for sale! He is my pride and joy :)
