Paper sign with cartoon image advertising WHISTLE, a popular brand of orange soda whose motto was “Thirsty? Just Whistle!” Measures 10” x 13-1/4” and marked “© 1941 V.B. CO., ST. LOUIS, MO.” (Note: Some of these signs still have the original 7/8" transparent glue squares in each corner, which was intended to be moistened to be used to adhere the sign to a store window.)
