Original Kovu Cub Plush - Disney Store

This was my second-ever Lion King plush toy.  I bought him with my own money when I was 13 from the Disney Store during the original 1998 release of Simba's Pride on VHS.  I kept the tags on him, and he's still in perfect condition since I took very good care of my toys.  I loved Kovu.  I always preferred the male cubs to the female, and I loved that he was dark like Scar.  I never thought this plush was as cute as the purring Kovu, but I never owned the latter.  This Kovu grows on me every day. He's about 14" long and well-made.  He has beans in his bum and embroidered eyes.  There is a matching Kiara in the same laying position, and aside from the matching beanie plush, this is the only Kovu plush that the Disney Store made in the USA.  I don't believe that one has been available from the Disney Store since, but there have been many Kovus and Kiaras made by Mattel and Applause, and probably a few other companies.
