This is a copy of an email notice created and signed by Dr. Linda Lewis, who sent it to staff and students at the College of Physicians & Surgeons (P&S) at Columbia University the morning of September 11, 2001. At the time, professor Lewis was also the Dean of Student Affairs.
It one of the first pieces of aftermath ephemera I collected that world-changing day.
Please notice back then the medical center was called Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center (CPMC). Now it is called Columbia University Medical Center (CUMC).
