Here is an example of scale among plastic elephants. The Schleich game keeper is 3.5 inches tall. The Schleich African elephant (left) is 3.5 inches tall at the shoulder, which is much too small in comparison to the man. At the other extreme, the Safari African elephant (right), part of the "Vanishing Wild" series, is 7.25 inches tall at the shoulder and appears to be way out of proportion to the man. The Bullyland African elephant (center) is 4.5 inches tall and appears to be more-or-less the corrrect proportion to the man. Of interest, the Safari elephant is labeled as a female, which means the bull elephant, were it available, would be even larger. The Schleich and Bullyland elephants are both male.

Well Dean, the biggest male African forest-elephant messured was just 2.80m...
True, the forest elephant is smaller, but not THAT small.
Well, the African savannah elephant can be up to 4,2 meters maximum, but still then the guy is to little,or the safari too big, haha. The African forest elephant is another species as they know now,and much smaller,so we collectors can do something with that,as long as the last species looks like it indeed, with rounder ears, smaller tusks, bowed inside and so on.
It is a good comparison!
