Greece was still pretty high in clouds after winning Euro 2004 when I visited Athens for the Olympics. This was picked up in some general sporting goods shop in Plaka. The jersey is a fairly common design that Adidas used quite a bit back then. Nothing really special about this other than the Hellas flag on the chest is a nipple cheese grater. Despite that, it's a good shirt that I often wear out to pickup games or for short runs.
Yeah, all the Greek jerseys have that problem!!! The material used for this jersey was also substandard and not very comfortable, compared to the home Denmark jersey.
