I have an old mail pouch thermometer for sale. It is about 10" by 3 foot it is in really good shape and it still works great! I think it was made in the 30s and hung at my grandfathers house. Verry colorful and unique.

How can someone tell the age of a mail pouch tobacco thermometer. All the ones i see folks want $100.00 and up for them and know one can tell me how old it is. That can be a lot of money for something that may not be the real deal.

I have the large Mail Pouch Thermometer and broke the glass rod.......ooops. Google "GIANT CLASSROOM THERMOMETER". I purchased the thermometer and dismantled it for the glass rod. The calibration is not exact but close. GOOD LUCK!
