Adam - Gary Bedingfield is a friend of mine and I routinely share my discoveries with him in order to help his Baseball in Wartime database remain the best, most detailed collection of military-related baseball data, bar-none. Gary's work is the culmination of a life-long passion. The depending upon the photo he shared, it might have been on of mine. The roster/scorecard you see displayed in this article is mine and helped shine some new light on the rosters for the 3rd Army Championship game participants.

Jennifer - which championship did your uncle play in? Which team was he a member of? If he is the same Lewis Richardson that I am familiar with, he played minor league ball and had a pretty darned good career from 1940-1953 (with the war years serving his country). If he's still alive, he'd be 95 or 96 years old.

Lori,

Let me first state that we at CollectorsQuest cannot speculate or comment on any items' value or perform appraisals. With that out of the way, in regards to your program, I can inform you as to the facets of your program that will influence value:

Condition
Rosters - Are there any major league ball players listed on the program?
Game/Date - Is the program from any of the more significant games?

The bottom line is that the program is only worth what someone will pay for it. You can start off by researching every aspect of the program, document those attributes and list it at auction accordingly. Sit back and watch the bidding!
