GetGlue is a new social networking site that focuses on actual media — primarily entertainment media of television and film, but books, music, games, and other lifestyle activities (called “topics”) are included too. How it works is pretty simple; you check in stating what you are watching or doing and then are taken to a page devoted to that show or topic where you can talk social-media-style with others who are watching or doing the same thing. There’s also the option to have your check in posted to your other social networking sites, such as Facebook, Twitter, etc.
Why would you want to do any of that? …It takes a brave soul to admit to all their guilty pleasures all the time, right?

Some stickers are unlocked once and stay on your profile forever, others are unlocked for a specific period of time. While it is clear how you can unlock some stickers, others are a bit mysterious and require you to figure out how to unlock them on your own.
Some stickers can only be unlocked by checking-in on a specific day during a specific time – these stickers are limited and exclusive and will not be available outside of this window.
These stickers aren’t just cool to display to other Glue-ers, on your blog, etc., or even for building digital collections — you can get actual stickers mailed to you!
Earn or unlock 20 digital stickers and, up to once a month, you can request physical copies be mailed to you free of charge.
We send about 20 stickers at a time, the amount that a lil’ old stamp can carry. We also send what’s currently in stock. You should have your stickers in 4 – 6 weeks. Keep an eye on the “Mail me my stickers” banner to know when you can request your next batch!
Since these stickers are for the shows you like, it’s a chance to collect something from your favorite TV shows once a week — usually based on the individual episodes themselves.
And when it comes to special events, such as the Super Bowl or the Grammys, you can get a piece of it for your collection too. Without leaving your couch, potato.
