Gentlemen,
I have been collecting these sets since they first came out. However, that does not mean I have all of them, I only collect the demons mentioned in De Plancey's book, or those that cold be (meaning the more traditional European demons. I do have about 80% of the pieces, I have never had an interest in the Egyptian, Zodiac or female/witch sets. Before I go any further, I am not a Demonologist or Satanist, just a collector of unusual toys and figures. In 1999, Trident Books published a book called Demonographia, it is a reprint of the original 69 demon plates as illustrated by Louis Breton, and engraved by M. Jarrault for De Plancey's book. It also includes a complete description of each character translated from the original French. So far, Yanoman has recreated 36 of the entities. Should you like descriptions of these please let me know and I will send them to you. Currently I am only missing one piece that I need, it is the chase figure from series II, Beelzebub the lord of the flies. Because these are so prized, I'm afraid I will never get one as they are all in private collections now. Anyway, these are great pieces and well worth collecting. I find Ebay is your best bet, for more information, look up Yanomans website for a complete listing of all the sets, http://www.yanoman.co.jp/product/etc/ click on the Demon's Chronicle photo link, good luck.

many of the pieces are from Colin De Plancey's Dictionaire infernal, which I would think would have inspired a series all of its own by now, even from japan. But nevertheless, I still look forward to seeing these for sale on an english site, if not in this country (u.s.), someday.

I can tell who (almost) each and everyone of your little figures are. From left to right: reindeer looking guy is the demon Furfur, the unpainted harpy looking figure maybe just be a harpy however they also make a lilith figure but I can't tell if that’s it, the cat with the horn is also throwing me though I know I've seen that image before, the angel with the four faces (lion, man, eagle, bull) is a cherub straight out of biblical book of Ezekiel 1, the goose looking one in front of the cherub is the demon Ipes, next over is the archangel Gabriel (which you already figured out), the guy on the gator is the demon Aguares, and the baby on the two headed dragon is the demon Volac. All of these demons come from occult lore, in particular a text called the The Geotia: The Lesser Key of Solomon the King. You can pick up a copy in any bookstore.

I have no idea what you're talking about on most of this. I was looking for accurate pictures of Cherubim and came accross this site. I would love to have the cherubim figure. It is straight out of Ezekiel 1 (The Bible.) Can you tell me where I could get one and some idea of the cost? Can these figures only be ordered by the case? Thanks.
