That was some terrible awfulness...if I remember correctly, you threw balls of swamp vegetation at giant insects, and collected 9v batteries for health. When I was 8 I never stopped to think about why batteries would give a plant-man health, but then again, that game was so difficult I was always too concerned about getting killed by the guy with praying mantis for a head.
